Dies to Die For guest design team call & a couple of challenges

Tracy over at Dies To Die For is advertising for a guest spot on her design team, now - I know the chances of getting picked are beyond slim, as there are so many amazingly talented people out there, but I thought I would have a go - what the heck lol..... Here are my two cards for the call.

I have recently purchased some stamps (these gorgeous Anya's) and received fantastic first class service and would love to be associated with such a company - plus Dies To Die For sells sooooooooooooo much more other lovely stuff I could be broke a day after pay day!!!

This card is based on a sketch by Raspberry Ribbons, it is the sketch for their current challenge, I love this sketch, as I like the simplicity of it, to make I used my brand new Anya available here.
Coloured her with Pro Markers, covered the princesses crown & star on the wand in lashings of Glamour Dust, cut out using Nestabilitie die, then mounted onto Pink Petticoat papers with 3d foam pads, I punched the bottom edge to the mounted section out using a Marther Stewart punch, wrapped round a tied a gorgeous pink ribbon, which has a gold shimmer to it, and added a Craft Work Cards sentiment.

The second card I made for the Dies To Die For Guest team spot is also for the Arty Girlz challenge, where this weeks theme is Blue/Yellow Colour Combo. Well using the same Anya (couldn't resist!) I coloured her with Pro Markers, The crown & star I coloured in pastel yellow, and again covered her what should be sparkly bits with Glamour Dust, she was cut out with a nestabilitie die, and mounted onto bazzil and paper from Pink Petticoat, the yellow sparkly gem stars are from Papermania.

Sugar Bowl - Christmas

This week over at The Sugar Bowl, the theme is Christmas "NO" I shouted (in my head lol), but hay ho.......... After some thinking and improvising, as I do not have any Sugar Nellie Xmas stamps I decided to stamp up the fox, and then remembered I had the Christmas Fairy, which I don't think is just for Christmas, shes toooo cute.....

So having not known where to start, I ended up with two cards for the challenge!

To make, both cards used images from Funky Kits, papers DCWV, gems & ribbons from stash, bazzil card, Craft Work Card sentiment, fox card coloured with Tim Holtz ink, Fairy card coloured with Pro Markers, Glamour Dust and Shimmerz.
